Zoology art exhibition at E17 Art House 31st May-28th June 2014
As part of the E17 Art Trail 2014; the annual arts festival in Walthamstow, E17 Art House gallery and picture framers is being taken over by animal art! Zoology features art by over 20 artists, designers, photographers and sculptors, showing screen-prints, graphic art, paintings and 3D work.
E17 Art House prides itself on showcasing talented local artists and designers, and with so many under one roof this is a great time to pick up an affordable piece of art you’ll love.
Zoology features a series of seven new pieces by Walthamstow singer, musician and artist Darren Hayman. The ‘Walthamstow Stadium Heroes’ series features greyhounds who have previously raced at Walthamstow dog track.
The track closed in 2008 after 75 years of being owned by one family. The greyhounds in Hayman’s paintings are now retired and living happily in and around London.
