This month E17 Art House Picture Framers and Gallery celebrates its second anniversary. The 5th July is our Independence Day, as this is when we opened the doors of E17 Art House, after the Portobello Road picture framers and gallery we had worked in fell foul of spiralling costs and was forced to close.
We turned dreary storage rooms off Church Hill Walthamstow, formerly used by the Tax Office, into a bright and friendly gallery and framing workshop.

E17 Art House offers a wide selection of frames from contemporary to ornate, including hand finishes, box-frames and tray frames (for canvases). We frame textiles, football shirts, medals and memorabilia, as well as original and limited-edition art, paintings, prints, photos, posters and certificates. E17 Art House uses only acid-free, conservation materials which will not cause damage or discolouration, and also offer acid-free drymounting for posters, photographs and suitable art prints.
All E17 Art House staff have an art or design background, owners Kirsten and myself (Elaine) are artist-printmaker, and graphic designer respectively and between us have over 25 years of framing experience.

Come and see us for framing advice, or have a browse through our great affordable art and greetings cards.
