Opening Weekend success.
What a great weekend we had at our Grand Opening! Thank you to everyone who dropped in to see our Walthamstow space and say hello, it was lovely to meet you all. You also placed numerous orders for picture framing and bought some great art prints, so thanks again.
Our little art house was buzzing throughout Saturday, into the evening, with many of you staying to party till the midnight hour. We were lucky enough to have great live music, and a large supply of beverages!
If you couldn’t make it, you missed Kirsten’s homemade lemon cake (really great), and wonderful performances from “Ukulele Yes!” We will try to get the film footage up, as the lead singer’s voice is too incredible to miss. Watch this space.
Sunday was another lovely day with more visitors stopping by, tea and scones, and a second underwater themed mural for children to paint and add to – there are some great young budding artists in Walthamstow! We will be showing these murals during the Art Trail in September. In fact the mural painting was so popular with young artists we may draw a fresh picture every Saturday to be painted!
